SBVBC encourages competitive volleyball by organizing several tournaments a year. We organize competition of different levels from recreational to advanced and in different formats - indoor/outdoor, one-day/two-day tournaments. Our goal is to provide a venue for our spectrum of players.

San Jose NAGVA Tournament

Each spring, we offer two-day, indoor tournament. It is sanctioned by the North American Gay Volleyball Association (NAGVA). It is a national tournament and have players travel from across the country to participate. We offer three divisions (B, BB, and A).

Fall Fling 2008
One Day Tournament

We decided to offer more than one tournament a year and since then held individual one-day indoor tournaments. We hope to have several smaller tournaments throughout the year. Our last tournament was the Fall Fling Tournament.

Summer's Last Call

SBVBC cosponsors this event with Rainbow Recreation. It is a recreational, outdoor volleyball tournament held in September. It has been a fun way to expose new and beginner players to competitive volleyball in a relaxed environment.
